WW2 "Ghost Army" 23rd Headquarters Unit Shirt
The "Ghost Army," officially the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, was a secretive U.S. Army unit of about 1,100 soldiers during World War II, tasked with deceiving German forces through psychological warfare. Comprising artists, engineers, actors, and designers, the unit used inflatable tanks, fake radio transmissions, and sound effects to create battlefield illusions, misrepresenting the size and location of Allied forces.
From 1944 to 1945, the Ghost Army conducted over 20 deception operations across Europe, drawing German troops away from actual battle sites and saving thousands of lives. Their efforts remained classified until the 1990s, and today, their unique blend of artistry and military strategy is celebrated in books, documentaries, and exhibitions.
Available only here in this style. Commands in WW2 would often make thier own T-Shirts and they pretty much followed a same pattern. This is our interpretation of the way the 23rds shirts would have looked and this style is available only through Ghosts of the Battelfioeld.
